I love exploring the great outdoors by camping and hiking, drawing inspiration from nature's patterns and in my spare time I create abstract art in the form of drawings, mix media paintings and photography. Being able to expand my creative thinking and gain new perspectives enhances my designs in user experiences in the digital space.
My design expertise includes researching, planning, and implementing comprehensive design strategies that align with cross functional teams to support learning to improve user centric experiences. I excel in conducting evaluations of products to synthesize and identify significant growth opportunities that improve the scope and scale that optimize a return on investment.

As the Managing UX/UI Designer my focus was to address and update designs on the teacher-facing curricular platform and internal content management tools. I worked closely with cross functional teams in Product Management, Tech, Growth and Engineering teams to create intuitive experiences that address complex user needs. As a volunteer and contract designer I collaborated with Educational Learning spaces to help determine their product placement, develop a road map to include improvements to the digital product, establish priorities to research use cases, develop and design wireframes to update or create new user facing sites, and refresh current sites to meet WCAG compliance that met stakeholders and market needs. My role focused on leveraging user-centered design principles to create accessible sites for educators to learn new skills in educational technology, learning experience design and skill up for new job placement.

Conroe ISD | UX Research for District Dyslexia Committee: Planning, organizing and researching user experience insights for Conroe ISD Dyslexia Website. The redesign is to provide parents, educators and students access to Dyslexia services, accessibility information, transition from K-12 into Post Secondary education, technology & career guidance, internship & apprenticeship programs and providing resources within Montgomery County, State and National Dyslexic services.
Teaching: A Path to Learning and Development | Graphics & UX Project Support Role for Agile Course Development: Volunteered as a graphic designer & UI support role for the Agile ID Course Design project to enhance the layout & typography and provide a design system that is relevant to learning course materials. Working with team members in a Agile cross functional format to establish concise, uniform delivery of product.
The Learning Camel | Learning Experience Designer: I was selected to join the Instructional Design Slack Cohort with The Learning Camel to complete an onboarding experience and build an online financial course. This role was to establish best practices in the process of working with a remote team of educators to build onboarding protocols and discussions to gain insights into course building.

Developed and implemented Asynchronous Art 1 course with strategies and plans to promote continuous improvement to online learning that increased student involvement 83% with online tools and expanded their design process.
Identified & analyzed solutions to fill learning gaps for180 student in creative courses increasing blended learning achievement with STEAM real world projects in art appreciation, design, and career exploration.
Designed the Canvas LMS template and logo banner for TWHS HS teachers to promote consistency for online learning during Covid, Served as advisor for CISD District Art 1 Curriculum, sequence, and alignment for High School.
